Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative

As a 501(c)(3) non profit, the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative works to facilitate the development of the B2B Trail by raising money through individual donations, private foundations, businesses, and state funds. In collaboration with our public partner WCPARC, HWPI supports community access and regional connectivity through world-class trails.

Our Mission

HWPI’s mission to facilitate development and promote enjoyment of regional trails connecting people, communities, and nature.

We do this by creating awareness, raising funds, and coordinating efforts of individuals, civic groups, local businesses, and government entities. To date, we’ve focused on facilitating the development of non-motorized recreational pathways and helping connect the Border to Border Trail to Michigan’s expanding network of trails.

Our Vision

HWPI’s goal is create an inclusive world-class regional trails that foster community well-being.
