Volunteering, maintaining, and celebrating the B2B Trail will look different this year due to COVID-19 and social distancing recommendations of the CDC. While we may not gather as volunteer groups on the trail as we normally do, our work is as important as ever, and your support as a volunteer is essential. We look forward to a time when we can safely work together at a community event or group trail stewardship day. Until then, you can still support the B2B Trail from home or from a distance.

Individual Trail Clean-Ups

Socially Distanced Stewardship! Individual cleanups are simply you and a trash bag, and whatever segment of the B2B Trail you’d like to care for. Please be safe and observe these rules.

  • Stay safe. Follow CDC guidelines for mask-wearing, social distancing, and other hygiene.
  • Wear gloves. Always wear gloves when picking up debris and/or litter.
  • Use your judgment. Don’t pick up anything that seems unsafe or unsanitary.
  • Dispose of trash properly. With limited staff and services in surrounding park areas, trash may not be emptied as normal. Please bring home the collected trash for proper disposal.
  • Share on social. Let the B2B and others know how you’ve helped by posting on Facebook. Use the hashtag #B2BTrailStories!
