Trail Access and Description

This Border to Border Trail corridor connecting downtown Dexter to the Hudson Mills Metropark is 4.58 miles of rolling, non-motorized pathway that lies between Main Street and North Territorial Road. Visitors will experience a rural landscape in a park setting featuring riverfront views, woodlands, and scenic prairie environments.

From the Metropark lots, the B2B Trail can be accessed near the north end of the park (near the vehicle entrance), where it crosses to the west side of the Huron River and traverses nearly 5 miles into downtown Dexter.  The Hudson Mills Metropark provides ample parking, internal park trails, restrooms, and recreation options for the whole family.

From downtown Dexter, the trail can be accessed at Mill Creek Park North and South. These access points boast beautiful views and access to Mill Creek, a 2.15 acre park with a small play structure and several swings and a wide selection of boutiques, shops and restaurants throughout the downtown Dexter area. From Mill Creek North, a wooden stairway provides access from the park up the steep hillside to connect to the Dexter District Library and the Farmer’s Market.

The B2B Trail in the Dexter area is the result of a successful partnership between the Huron-Clinton Metroparks, Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission and the City of Dexter.
