Meet the HWPI Team: Mackenzie Wisniewski

Mackenzie joined the HWPI team as the new Assistant Director in September 2020. She will be working closely with the staff, Board of Directors and Executive Committee to further develop fundraising activities and facilitate growth of the B2B Trail System community. With a degree in Environmental Studies from Florida State University, Mackenzie has had a successful career in both higher education and nonprofit fundraising. She continues to strive to “do better for the world,” which is the main reason for her dedication and commitment in this field.

with Michael and Oakley

Originally from Florida, Mackenzie moved to Michigan in 2017. She lives in Ann Arbor with her husband Michael and their dog Oakley. Outside of work, she enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. She also enjoys gardening, baking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Mackenzie volunteers her free time to Florida Camp for Children and Youth with Diabetes as an annual volunteer and board member.

Mackenzie believes that the B2B is an important resource across the Washtenaw County community. She loves that the B2B provides a safe environment to exercise, explore the outdoors, see nature and stay healthy. She is thrilled to join the HWPI team and work with an enthusiastic and collaborative group that is completing the B2B Trail System.
